... I got this error too, and hldsupdatetool will start to download HL1... After some atempts i moved the option -game "Counter-Strike Source" to the end of the line and then it started downloading SRCDS, like: HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -dir d:\srcds -username igeorgebush -password electedbysuckers -game "Counter-Strike Source" I think quotes are bad here. I'm going to try with 'Counter-Strike Source' too.
