Come on now, I wasn't looking to start a flame war. By your own admission I had a point with regard to the vid card discussion. I was honestly just looking to try and thin the number of useless emails coming through the list daily.
I have no problem with discussing CPU requirements for running "X" number of servers on a dedicated machine. AMD vs. Intel discussions always end-up with dozens of "opinions" and comparisons and frankly it's tedious and tiresome for people that don't have CPU loading issues. It's almost as bad as video chipset debates, or religeon for that matter. Can't someone just simply answer the questions? Do we have to pick apart every maps's requirements and compare bits vs. bytes and nVidia vs. ATI and good grief, man.... --- "Whisper ." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: [snip] > > To the idiot who doesn't want to talk about CPU > power, guess what, HLDS is > nearly all about CPU power.
