Would you bet your life on that? I doubt they test anything, I mean how hard would it be to click on the server option in steam to see that its not set to what you last had it set to no matter what you do? Also if you have been involved with professional software development projects, you would be familiar with the concept of regression testing and change management. Seriously, does it ever appear that Valve even LOOK at the final results before inflicting their obviously untested and unreviewed code changes, or do the just stick the code in and hit "Release to STEAM" and hope for the best?
