The least VAC could do is instead of this useless detect then ban several days latter policy that clearly does not work, VAC should be banning immediately upon connection when a hack is detected.
It would be nice to know that VAC does actually work! Although, it does appear that Valve are fully aware that their STEAM_ID system is completely compromised, and that is why they are no longer updating VAC as it is a total waste of time whilst hackers can rejoin within a minute or two with new STEAM_ID!
