I am planning to upgrade a game server that will be running valve based games. And will be using the most current build of windows server 64bit beta.
What im trying to decide is if I should buy a real server motherboard, like the Tyan S2850 and a single Opteron 1.8 or go cheap and get a consumer based motherboard with onboard video that uses the 754pin socket with a amd64 3000+.
