Also, I sometimes start hl on one of my computers, connect to my server, and just let it sit all day. I've been connected for 12 hours+ without ever touching mouse or keyboard, and never got disconnected. So far, I have no clue.
maybe that guy was using non-steam and it's a bug spawned from that. 'eh, who cares, pretend we figured it out unless you find it again =)
