Yeah. Some hacker from Germany was charged. There was a great article on
Gamespot about it (24 pages long, about the whole HL2 development story).

Good ole conspiracy theories are more interesting though ;)

lol, I didn't follow it through.  They charged somebody with the deed, eh?
Yea, I was basically just spouting off on a tangent.  ati and nvidia
couldn't have planned it better though.  We were thinking a year ago we
"had" to have a 9800pro or better to run it.  And people were actiing like
they "had" to have it "stat".
