Today I was really happy after reading these words: > Source Engine Updates > - HTTP and non-HTTP map auto downloading functionality After updating my server I added some custom maps into my mapcycle, and the download from my server works perfect. But: because every player is downloading the custom maps, all players on my server get horrible high pings like >500. Now I will allow the players to download the missing files from my webserver, so the pings don't rise this much. My problem: I don't know how to do this. How can I define the files they have to download? How can I define the URL? What kind of file-type I need to upload them on my webserver? Anyone made some experience with this topic? If someone could help me I would be very lucky. Thanks forsupport and sorry about my bad English (I'm Swiss).
