OK, I found and downloaded a copy of this tool, the decompiled it, made it a command-line tool, and then made it do more than one .res file at a time. And I'm fairly sure I haven't irreparably broken it in the process. I don't have anywhere to actually post it up, so if anyone wants, I can send it via e-mail.
