I didn't see anywhere in the list subscription or anywhere else in any
of the initial emails that I received from the listing program about
this being a "dedicated windows list". Also I was receiving help from
someone who seemed to be knowledgeable on the subject. So please, if you
don't have anything to say about this subject, please don't respond.
Thanks

How about take this to the Linux list instead of the dedicated Windows
list.
You might find help there.

Hey thanks for the suggestions, however this is what's still happening
bash-2.05b$ ./srcds_run -debug -game cstrike +map de_dust2 +maxplayers
12
Auto detecting CPU
Using AMD Optimised binary.
Enabling debug mode
Auto-restarting the server on crash
Sun Dec 19 14:09:11 GMT 2004: Server Quit
bash-2.05b$ cat debug.log
bash-2.05b$ (nothing in debug.log)
bash-2.05b$ pkg_info |grep linux
linux_base-debian-3.0.23_1 Debian base set for the Linux mode
I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with the library versions
used in these linux emulation packages? This is on FreeBSD 4.10.
Thanks for any help

Tried running it as ./srcds_run -game cstrike +map de_dust +maxplayers
16
I always get crashes if I try to run the binaries directly.

Hello all,
I'm trying to get CS:S to work properly on my server, but it
keeps giving me a fatal error. I'll post a little background about my OS
and hardware prior to posting the problem.
bash-2.05b$ pkg_info |grep linux
linux_base-debian-3.0.23_1 Debian base set for the Linux mode
I've tried using ports/emulators/linux_base , linux_base-8, and now
linux_base-debian. Any suggestions?
