I run several CS 1.6 and rcon works 100% of the time. If I do not disconnect on map change, it keeps my pw. Although I do have a exec rcon_pass.cfg And ban IP works for me. Ie, you need to retype rcon_password.. (that's when you play on the server yourself, obviously, not remote tools) 3rd, banip doesn't seem to work or do anything. it should return something and tell you if it actually did something.
