If memory serves you need to use the mspclient on the server running hlds and
set the client config file up right, as well as configure the right ports and
what not for the isa packetfilters.

I would take a look at this forum in the gaming section for pointers in the
correct direction:

Subject: [hlds] MS ISA and HLDS

Hello list, I've been away for about 3 years from this list :-( but,,I am
sure someone has used the HLDS behind a 2003 server running Microsoft's ISA
server. Can you give me specifics on how you set it up. I have been running
Linux servers for the past few years but am trying a 2003 server with ISA to
see how well it performs with a new HLDM install. The game is up, everything
appears to work fine, but the inbound connection and browse does not work. I
know this is a simple firewall issue, but even disengaging the ISA service
produces the same result. Comments and instructions will be appreciated. I
hope everyone has a good Christmas.

Cheers,

sittnduck
