This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- Over the last several weeks, I've been trying to tweak my connection to get the choke down. (if one has a high choke, then it is dissatisfactory to play, to say the least). However, I've had minimal success. The best I've done so far is a max of 9, which usually occurs early in the round but drops. During this time, it's near impossible to hit a hitbox.
Here are the server's settings: sv_maxrate 10000 sv_minrate 0 sv_maxupdaterate 50 cl_cmdrate 65 20 man, 24/7 office server It's on a 100mbit connection, so bandwidth isn't really a problem. Here are my settings on my computer: cl_updaterate 20 cl_cmdrate 30 cl_interp 0.100 rate 10000 My home connection is a 1.5mb down, ~900 up. While pinging the server outside of CS, I get ~85ms ping. Inside CS, it reports a 100ms ping. In addition to the tweaking, I've tried to read up on fixing this type of problem, but so far have been unsuccessful. Thanks. -- [ winmail.dat of type application/ms-tnef deleted ] -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
