This is how Microsoft usually works - MS software is notorious for doing what Microsoft thinks you want, not what you really want.

Get a WRT54G, load up the current Sveasoft firmware so you have QoS for your server and static IP assignments, and you will have a rock solid router. Their BEFSR41 series were pure crap, but they seem to have learned some lessons and actually have a decent product now. You remember how much I hated Linksys when I worked at Merlin?
