Seriously? I've been running a Slackware box next to my Windows 2000 box, and neither have been hacked. The only difference is I had to pay for Win2000, and it blue screens 2 or 3 times a month. Slackware didn't cost me anything, and it has never crashed. Not once. Hmm...pay Microshaft for an OS that crashes because of this or that crap driver, or get Slackware for free that has yet to crash once......
But I really don't know how hackable either box is since I don't have that many ports open in my router. I would not run either of them in the DMZ, that is like putting up a sign, "Here I am, hack me!!!".

LOL I run all Microsoft and patch religiously ... No problems since Code red. I load a Gentoo box and it's hacked in 3 days. I had to pull the plug LOL !!!!!!!!
