This whole thread reminds me of when I built my first dual xeon server.
The first thing I did to test it out was put on a 32man dod server
running avalanche. The server got full almost immediately and I looked
at the cpu usage in task manager. It reported 6%. I literally
exclaimed out loud, "holy chit, I'm gonna be rich!" Then as I added
some more servers to the machine, the cpu usage started to approach
"reasonable" values, and I'm still not rich.

I suggest you put 3 or 4 of those servers on your machine. Wait until
they get full and then check out the resource utilization. I think
you'll be surprised to find that the machine will perform similar to
what intel offers.

I believe that for whatever reason CS:S is just very efficient when
hosted with 64bit hardware and OS. I have updated the pict with some
info. I sense that you will only believe if you join the game
yourself. If you see me playing [Pfeffer]EnragedTech, ask for a
resource snapshot and i will drop out to remote into the server and
take one.
