Gmail slots your email in the right place in the conversation. Maybe Yahoo thinks that anything that you write is worthy of a new conversation thread.
To be honest I can't wait for Microsoft to pick up on this conversation thread idea. A mailing list in Outlook is horrid but in Gmail it is wonderful. > ps.
