1) The Source DS can take up a few hundred MBs but to check what's
being downloaded by Steam, you can check the Monitor window.

2) The maps should be in the cstrike folder in C:\Program
Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\ACCOUNT_NAME\$srcds$\cstrike\maps
Replace ACCOUNT_NAME with your Steam account name and $srcds$ with the
name of the dedicated server folder (I use Linux so I don't know what
the Windows directory would be called).

3) When you try to connect to the server with your internet IP, the
router may not be NATing your connection correctly and causing you to
not connect to the server so right now, the best way is to connect to
the server through its network IP.
