Glad you like it, guess I should have mentioned it years ago. :--)

I never had a huge list, but years ago we at that time had a bunch of sound
triggers,
I just thought at the time..man it'd be annoying to force all these on everyone
at once.
Adding them over time didn't solve the problem of a new person on the server,
so I just thought, well hey most people will sit through 2-3 for a map. Spread
that out over all the non custom maps in the cycle and they all eventually get
them. Even the players that would have sat through them all appreciated it.
You have a fancy .res tool.. I just used handy dandy notepad. :) Another tip
was to only put them on the standard maps, as if the person doesn't have the
map already it saved them more time... course now with steam and http downloads
this is less of an issue.

You know, that is a most excellent idea that I never thought of! Most
everyone will put up with 2-3 sound downloads per map, and it prevents the
burden of downloading all of the sounds at once. I have a program that adds
the sounds to my .res files, and it would not be hard to modify to spread
out the sound downloads. That way, I could even add more sounds to snd-conf
without placing excessive burden on players.
