-snip What makes you think that nosteam generates steamids of existing users? It does not. Steamids are linked to steam accounts. Nosteam uses a normal steam account and thus gets a normal *unique* steam id. -snap There existed in June-July of last year a hack that worked sort of like no steam, except it leeched steamids, and spammed them to the server and master server, thus rendering many "you are logged in at another computer" messages in friends. This "hack" could have ANY steamed entered into it. And it would connect and auth as that steamid. Making the hacker immune to banning. It was referred to I believe as the steamid generator feature. A few modifications later..and you have nosteam. Are you active in the anti-cheat community?
