Mind explaining how ensuring that pretty much every steam client in the world trying to update at exactly the same time does NOT put more strain on the network than if the client updates were unannounced and everybody were just randomly getting updated throughout that same day? Sheesh.
I have no idea where you're going with this. Steam updates happen. The only thing you're having a problem with here is that Alfred gave a couple hours advanced notice. He's done this often and you're the only person I've seen that suddenly has a problem with it.
