Check your firewall is configured correctly, disable it for a test. A friend has something weird happening, a temporary file is created in \docs & settings\temp and then attempts to connect to the internet upon joining a CSS server with VAC2, however its name changes each time you connect, so you may need to add some specific rules to allow connections.
