You ask in a different list about Valve ignoring questions. Well I have been on this list about 6 months (i.e. not very long) but I have noticed this.
When someone asks a new technical question, a question that you can't find by looking on the first page of a google search or, in your case, by looking through the options page, they respond. Just be fortunate that there are hundreds of other excellent server admins that are on this list that are nice enough to help people out. Please don't try to tell them that you don't want to listen to what they have to say because they don't work for Valve.
