I don't agree that "just about every other game" has this option.
And please don't make this a very high priority, because it is not a high priority when you can fix this AND get super duper admin functionality with many different admin-mods out there. So do what "just about every other" server admin out there has done, and install some adminmod. Atleast don't ignorantly reject the help someone is trying to give you because you think you know what Valve SHOULD do or what is priority...
