Thanks for the info Alfred, unfortunately I still can't seem to get this working for both my HL2 and HL1 server,
The HL2 works fine no problems, player can get fast downloads, but it blocks my HL1 players from doing so. Here's the contents of my .htaccess file. Can you see if I've got something wrong in there, please. The HL1 engine uses: hl1://<server ip> For the referer syntax.
