Edit the value of ErrorMode under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\currentcontrolset\control\windows to 2 to stop
those pop-ups from Windows itself (memory read errors).
This link may be 2000, but it works for other versions as well....MS
Winblows reference about it: http://tinyurl.com/aetvw

Generally

=0 will disable it.

dialog boxes for source and hlds servers that crash?

I'll reply and tell you the same thing everyone else is telling you. You
can't buy a VDS account with a host and run HLDS/SCRDS. You either
own/rent/lease the box and run it as the root/main OS or you are a
cheapskate idiot trying to solve a problem that you are bringing on
yourself. You just told everyone without a solution for you to not reply
so
I thought I'd break that rule and tell you that it's impossible before
your
request fades off into the shadows of the list. Either run it from the
main
install or go away. It's an admin list...not an "I'm a cheap bastard but I
want my way anyway" list. Good luck in your slimly financed endeavor just
the same.

No, I have to run it like this. I dont want opinions on getting rid of
virtual server. Im asking if you know the answer or solution other then
getting rid of virtual server. If you dont dont reply.

In general I concur with Clayton, even VM-ESX Server instances can show
some flakyness when stressed. If you have the time though it would be
interesting to see if you ran a win32 virtual instance running the win32
server and see if it showed the same problem. ( my guess would be it
probably would.)

I think the problem is you're trying to run performance-needy game
server software in a performance-sapping virtual machine. I sincerely
doubt you'll ever have good results. Do yourself a favour and just do
it the right way.
