Due to legal and corporate policies within Valve, Alfred can't give you
a timeframe.  Most game development companies, and even other
development companies will simply reply "when it's ready".

Basically, if Alfred did give you a timeframe, and they didn't meet it,
you'd start coming back asking where it was.  Just look at HL2.  You see
how many deadlines they missed?  Regardless, they eventually delivered
(beating Duke Nukem Fornever).

If you don't like these responses, don't ask for timeframes from them.
