To protect my TAG in my HL1DM server I use an Adminmod plugin called plugin_checktag in which you can list which STEAM IDs are authorised to use your TAG. If anyone who is not authorised, tries to use your TAG they get kicked from the server. If you can't find this plugin for yourself, I'm willing to send it to you.
