On that note, Alfred, is it still "-secure" for the server command line of a 1.6 server?

If your server is up to date (and you can check this by running hldsupdatetool with the "-verify_all" flag) then you are VAC secure by default. If you don't want to run VAC then add "-insecure" to the command line when launching the server (or tick that box in the GUI tool). - Alfred Robert Whelan wrote: > in your <mod> directory go to the liblist.gam file > > edit: secure "0" > > to -> > > secure "1" > > VAC is now running... > > > --- archie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> Need some help with VAC... >> I run 2 servers and 1 server has VAC installed but other server does >> not have VAC.. how do I get VAC installed?????????? >> arch >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list >> archives, please visit: >> http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds >> > > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
