A related question for anyone who may know, is there any way to force the
hldsupdatetool to connect to a predetermined steam content server - The
reason being I want to force our hlds and srcds game servers to connect to
our steam content server, which would give me optimal download speeds and
would not use any bandwidth in/out of our network. The servers are on
different IP address ranges which is why I suspect it does not connect to
this server, since steam client seems only able to list internet servers in
the same class A as my own IP) if anyone knows how please let me know and
i'll be a very happy man :D

So this information is being pushed by Steam? If so, I am glad. I thought
I may have overwritten a wad.

And yup, good luck to anyone. After reading those links...lol.

 Thanks for the prompt reply.

I suspect this has been posted before. Just have not seen it nor seen in
a
forum thread quickly.

When you connect to a game server for CS 1.6, you can see the "content
hosted by" banner. How can that be changed?

We have numerous servers that say hosted by "somename" company and
our server host is not them. So since my hosting company is now, how
can that be customed? file location?

Thank you
