Same here (since yesterdays SRCDS update).

Whenever my SRCDS starts the line
"cminterface.cpp <601> : Assertion Failed: NULL != m_hConnection"
shows up in the console and a .mdmp file is created:

02.12.2005  12:54         7.409.785 srcds_assert_20051202125449_1.mdmp
02.12.2005  13:53         7.408.745 srcds_assert_20051202135258_1.mdmp
02.12.2005  14:03         7.408.777 srcds_assert_20051202140338_1.mdmp

The process does not crash at this time. I have one server with this problem
and one were I can“t reproduce it. Both SRCDS servers have the same files
and run without any third party plugins.

I also noticed and reported that such assert files are being created by HLDS
since 21. november (an HL1 update was released that day):

22.11.2005  21:46        48.084.504 hlds_assert_20051122185213_1.mdmp
25.11.2005  19:35        48.077.094 hlds_assert_20051125193543_1.mdmp
25.11.2005  19:35        48.094.853 hlds_assert_20051125193545_2.mdmp
25.11.2005  19:35        48.085.557 hlds_assert_20051125193546_3.mdmp
26.11.2005  18:44        48.078.642 hlds_assert_20051126184424_1.mdmp
26.11.2005  18:44        48.116.838 hlds_assert_20051126184426_2.mdmp
26.11.2005  18:44        48.109.458 hlds_assert_20051126184427_3.mdmp
27.11.2005  03:04        48.393.538 hlds_assert_20051127030409_1.mdmp
27.11.2005  03:04        48.087.150 hlds_assert_20051127030410_2.mdmp
27.11.2005  03:04        48.086.034 hlds_assert_20051127030411_3.mdmp
01.12.2005  12:18        37.317.327 hlds_assert_20051201121817_1.mdmp

HLDS had this line in the console when the file was created:
"threadtools.cpp (771) : Assertion Failed: m_hThread == 0"

Anyone else seen this? I just updated all my server and saw one where vac
wasn't loading and no matter what i do i get this error and vac wont load.
Even after setting up a new server i got this error, but its weird to me
that after updating my 4 other server they work just fine. Can anyone
recommend a good program that views mdmp files or a work around/fix for
this?
