I DO appreciate the FREE stuff that these people provide. Now that I've re-read what I wrote, I do sound bitter and unappreciative and I am NOT. So let me rephrase: "Wouldn't it be cool if these wonderful folks who are putting in so much hard work to supply us with their FREE products were to communicate and coordinate once in a while?"
I mean if they are going to play part of the "Open Source" game, why not go all the way? Not criticism mind you, just food for thought.
