If you want to change the priority of your HL2.EXE you quite simply change the launch options for CSS or whatever game by adding the -high So your command startup launch options will look something like this: -console -high -heapsize 524288 -tickrate 100 -dxlevel 80 -w 1024 -h 768 +r_rainsimulate 0 +fps_max 101 +cl_smooth 0 You are in the wrong place anyhow. This is the Windows HLDS/SRCDS support list and you should have asked the question in the STEAM Forums as its a client side issue.
