My phone number had been incorrect for 10 years. Now, out of the blue, this
happens. Maybe some manager somewhere figured they could make a ton of money
if they went around and checked everyone's phone numbers, and fined everyone
with bad numbers <shrug>

hmm net.sol. actually gives "vip" treatment to anyone with more then 5
domains automaticly. Course you pay a premium.. but hey, you get what you
pay for! 11 years for me without a problem with them, and my phone
numbers has never been correct in thier records, let alone some other
information over the years.

They charged me a $9.95 fee because I had a wrong phone number in my
contact
information. I understand that correct contact info is required by law
(yeah, how many people put correct contact info there?), but I moved
recently and then my daughter went into the hospital where she remains 5
weeks later, so I never got around to updating my contact info. The
decision
to charge me a fee was a business decision, not a law, and it irritated
me.
Their "too bad" response to my complaint pissed me off. I have little
tolerance for this sort of thing. You see, I have invented the BKMF
Theorem
(Butt Kiss Money Flow). It's simple - if money flows from me to you, butt
kissing flows from you to me. If butt kissing doesn't flow from you to me,
my money will stop flowing from me to you. I have 13 domains registered
with
them, and I expected better customer service then that. "To bad" is a
totally unaccpetable response, and it is costing them my business.

Can I ask what pissed you off with GoDaddy?
I am thinking of switching to them and would like to know before I do :)

My domains are .com, .us, and I think I have a .info that is just
parked.
I'm in the USA. I was using GoDaddy, but this irritated me today, enough
so
that I'm willing to move my domains to another registrar.

For a .com address or for the country you are in which you haven't
specified

[OT]!
It's too quiet here today.
My domain registrar irritated me today, so it's time to find another
one.
Any referrals? Who is your domain registrar, who would you recommend?
I
don't need hosting, I just need a registrar for my existing domains.
