-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I always use console. The only place -secure is, is in the liblist game I think. I haven't checked that. This issue has something to do with not being able to connect to the VAC server and or not being able to connect fast enough or maybe in the right way, I'm not sure. Because if I restart through my gameCP control panel most times it wont show as vac secure, sometimes it will. But if I just stop the server and wait 30 seconds and then start the server it shows as vac secure most of the time I do that.
As you said the -secure command is no longer even used to my knowledge. All steam games are secure by default. The only command having to do with security is the -insecure command. I'm doing a little testing to try and track down why its doing this. Ill post back. -------Original Message------- From: James Grimstead Date: 04/09/06 08:46:22 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [hlds] Server shows as insecure -secure is not a valid command ----- Original Message ----- From: ".:: DJ EkL ::." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, April 08, 2006 8:59 AM Subject: RE: [hlds] Server shows as insecure > Are u using it in console mode or gui?? > > if ur using console put -secure in you command line > > DJ EkL > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Whisper > Sent: 08 April 2006 07:10 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [hlds] Server shows as insecure > > -- > [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] > Oh well > > On 4/8/06, kyle <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> >> -- >> -- >> [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] >> LAWL, another famous whisper reply.
