Hi,

I have recently been quite frustrated as the time limit CVAR (mp_timelimit)
keeps being changes at one of our servers - which can decrease the
popularity of that server as it is running fun-maps - and people are often
not interested in playing the same funmap for the rest of the day. I didn't
want to restrict any access but to catch whoever was responsible for this -
so I set up a plugin that logs any commands done by an admin ( except
amx_who, say etc ) to a database. Rcon commands are logged to the server log
already. However a server CVAR change recently happened again, with the
following log entry in the main server log => "L 04/22/2006 - 13:52:37:
Server cvar "mp_timelimit" = "31"" - nothing else. The script that logs
admin commands did not catch it either, and I have already tested that it
does catch amx_rcon, amx_cvar and amxmodmenu cvar settings (the menu choices
are preset at even numbers, so it could be ruled out anyway). It's the same
style on the log entry every time - but the time being set varies. does
anyone know how this can be happening? There are no special map settings,
and there are certainly not any plugins running that should be changing it.

Best regards,

TeX.
