You (as well as a few others) respond kind of harsh to people who get on this list not realizing what or how a mailing list works. This was the first list I was on, and I appreciated the people who steered me in the right direction here and there regarding listserve etiquette. What you do doesn't help the person, and is a cheap shot. And it certainly isn't making a star out of you either. It's not as if the same person is making this mistake for the 10th time.
