In response to message below, Ours is a dual xeon 3.2 (64bit) running fedora core 5 (64 bit) running HLDS in 32 bit. With pingboost 3 setting and a high ticrate it frequently manages 900fps. Not seen it go into 1000s though. However, to make sure bullet reg is better, the ticrate is reduced to get a server fps of around 125-250.
Cant help you with windows though I'm afraid as our servers are all on linux.
