Try running one server at 66 tickrate and see if this problem still occurs. This seems to eliminate a large number of problems. (they aren't just limited to doors you know)
Well, if that were an option I would do so. However, due to simple supply and demand issues these customers want there server running at a tickrate of 100. And the customer is always right èh? But to clarify the 'shaking' a bit more. It is not normal behavior, the player models are shaking like they are doing the 'funky chicken'. It doesn't really affect the game play and it isn't always noticeable. When you are facing an enemy directly you don't see it but when you are running along with a few teammates and when they walk up stairs of striving a bit when running it is clearly visible. And with regard to your assumption about the FPS booster, you are correct. It is simply a tool that adjust the media timer. It keeps the servers running a 512 FPS smoothly. -- Kind regards, Hans Vos _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
