when i was running my 1.6 server a while ago i used a plugin that provided the quake sounds (headshot etc) i don't remember the name but it was not the statsme plugin. I found it on either amx (no that is not a typo this is how long a go this was) or amx mod x website, i don't remember which. Just run a search in their plugins sections for quake sounds you should get something.
