What is a comcast firewall? You are using the cable modem they gave you? A motorola, maybe? There is a rudimentary config screen, but it's been so long since I used comcast, I don't remember how to get there. Try 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1. See if you can find the firewall config. I would be very hesitant to disable it unless you are also behind a router. Otherwise you are putting up a big sign, "Here I am! Hack me!". I had too many problems with the motorola modem, I gave it back and went and bought a Linksys cable modem.
However....Comcast absolutely forbids the running of game servers. Running a HL server violates their TOS. And, how much upload bandwidth do you have?
