You can re-run the hldsupdatetool.exe to verify the latest version of
your content?

I think the command is:
Hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game "counter-strike source" -dir
c:\hl2server -verify_all

You can also run srcds with the -condebug command to log the console to
a text file, although I am not sure if this will capture information
about the startup process...

Have you tried removing the -autoupdate command also?

Regards,
Adam

[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hello, I have a problem
with srcds.exe on Win Millenium. When I launch my batch file :

"start c:\hl2server\srcds.exe -console +ip XX.XXX.X.XX -game cstrike
+map de_dust -maxplayers 8 -autoupdate"

The server start :

Console initialized.
Attempted to create unknown entity type event_queue_saveload_proxy!
Game.dll loaded for "Counter-Strike: Source"

and here, I get this error message : "Host_Error: IDLLFunctions::DLLInit
returned False"

What can I do ? thx
