-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hi, I have 1 dedicated box running windows 2003, with 2 srcds's running cstrike.
One is on port 27090 the other 27040 (however I have tried changing these and seems to make no difference) One of my servers running on this box was fine the other day, now I cannot get either of them to make a connection. On startup I see the following: Adding master server 69.28.151.162:27011 Adding master server 207.173.177.11:27011 Could not establish connection to Steam servers. and in status I have: hostname: Counter-Strike: Source version : 1.0.0.28/7 2844 insecure (secure mode enabled, disconnected from Steam3) I have tried adding -secure -sport 27041 & 27091 on the respective servers and making sure both UDP & TCP ports are open on the Windows firewall. I have also tried opening port 26900, again, both UDP & TCP. I notice pinging steam3.steampowered.com gives me quite a few timeouts, but this has been going on for a while now. I have tried restarting the servers multiple times in the hopes that I will catch a connection perhaps, but that hasn't happened either. I have also tried leaving them for a while (days) as I read somewhere that they should connect automatically in case the steam servers are unreachable. Please help as running these servers in insecure mode seems to attact hackers by the truckload, effectively making them useless. Kind regards Rachel -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
