Subject: [hlds] HPB bots on hlds

My valve hl1ds has been running HPB Bots for years... all of a sudden
last week, the Bots won't fall down when they die. Sometimes the
levitate in various positions and sometimes they just stand there
slumped a little but they don't fall to the ground. It's very
disorienting like having a bunch of mannequins standing all over the
map. Now today, the Bots are moving in slow motion and even move through
the air (when jumping) in slow motion. If they jump off a ledge they
fall in slow motion. All real players move fine. Any ideas?

Just need the web services, and a few underlying bits of software if I
remember correctly (.Net for instance). Only one box has to be a web
server, then it can read the services of your other game servers. In
fact, if you have a dedicated web server already, you can install it
there and leave your game servers without web services whatsoever.

[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Thank you all for
replying
- I have looked into gamepanel and tried to install it but, like most
things, failed to set it up. Am I right in saying you need to turn the
dedi boxes the servers are on into web servers for this to work
properly?

Thanks

I second DLinkOZ,

I have used Gamepanel for about 2-3 years ever since his first beta.Like
he said it now on a pay basis but if you goto the website you can
download beta 4 and it has online ftp, file editing, stop start, rcon
prompts ect.And like said,it can span across several servers. No
restrictions.I like it alot and will probably not move to anything else.

You can have it control ANY service on the box as well.As long as it's
in the services.msc you can control it.Like your hirestimer apps ect.And
its themeable Really a great tool I highly suggest it!
