Hi.

Got the client on my main pc - can join online games no problems.
Got the win dedi server on my server downstairs.
Have ran CSS,NS,DODS and continue to with no problems.
ES always hangs at the same point. Screenshot at
http://www.mda-oldravers.co.uk/es-srcds.gif
My css server sometimes also hangs at this point but upon restarting it
works. ES always hangs.
Shortcut properties read C:\Servers\Valve\Servers\srcds.exe -console -game
esmod.
If I remove the '-console' it starts from gui -uptime starts ticking -
console says Connection to Steam servers successful.
   VAC secure mode is activated.
But it cannot be seen by myself (LAN) or others (internet)

Any ideas?

Thanks

Chris

Did you download the dedicated server on their site (just to clarify, not
their client install).

Double check you have the \esmod path set and your setting game to esmod.

We had one up with no issues running srcds.

Hi

Has anyone else tried running an Eternal Silence server yet?

I get errors loading files then it hangs.

My client works fine, but it mentioned it needed the Source SDK Base
installed in order to work - Is this installed by srcds automatically or is
there a way to get this downloaded by srcds?

Thanks
