Hello, I installed a new hlds (cstrike) on a Windows 2003 Web Edition, and I get the following logmessages shortly after starting the server:
reliabletimer.h (73) : Assertion Failed: m_nPerformanceCounterEnd >= m_nPerformanceCounterStart reliabletimer.h (60) : Assertion Failed: m_nPerformanceCounterEnd >= m_nPerformanceCounterStart reliabletimer.h (98) : Assertion Failed: nPerformanceCountNow >= m_nPerformanceCounterStart The server does not crash, I can play on it. But it creates hlds_assert_xxx.mdmp files. Does anybody have an idea how to solve this? Do I have to worry about it at all? It happens with or without running plugins. And it also happens when starting halflife instead of cstrike. I only noticed, that the messages appear faster, if no high resolution timer is running ( I have written a tool that keeps the higres timer running all time, so that I don't have to run media player to have decent server fps). Thanks in advance for any answer. Regards Mario Bludau a.k.a.
