How the hell can they cater for an option that never even existed until today? In fact AFAIK, nobody even knew this update was coming, let alone what was going to be in it!! In any case it still breaks plugins that do properly intergrate with the API, or even if it doesn't, what is your argument if NO plugin can function the way the program creator intended if there is nobody using the Valve provided API? That is to say, what the hell is the point of the Valve API if nobody bloody well wants to use it, if it is devoid of functionality and doesn't cater for anything useful. There must be some reason all these plugin creators seem to go out of thei way to NOT USE the Valve API? Maybe the Valve API is about as useful as tit on a bull, which only serves to explain why people go out of their way to program around it.
