Make sure to re-update the server, because valve makes pointless updates all the time, and if you do not install them your server is not listed with all the others in steam. Do this by running the hldsupdate tool again (from a command prompt with the correct arguments, simply double clicking it does nothing) If it doesn't work after that, post again.

This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hello. I installed my dedicated server to host counter-strike. I installed AMXX. I forwarded all the ports necessary to run the server, so I know this is not the problem. I also set sv_lan to 0 and sv_region 0.On the first day i started the server, people could connect, after that day, people could only connect if i gave them the IP to connect. I don't believe it is showing up in the Steam Server Browser List. I do not know if this is a related error, but when i used join my dedicated server from the computer im hosting it on, i get this error at the top of my in-game consol: "WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: port: 27015 bind: WSAEADDRINUSE NET Ports: server 27015, client 27005 Could not get TCP/IP address, TCP/IP disabled Reason: WSAENOTS." However, I fixed this error message by changing my server port, and forwarding that port, and I don't receive this error any more. However, people still cant see my server in the steam server list, but can see it if I give them IP or connect through friends. What can I do to fix this? Thanks a lot! ~M~ -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
