The guest pass system is being tested on that game AND it's a "marketing ploy" - a rather good and welcome one at that. It means that I all those people in my clan, who have only CS:S can try out DoDs on my DoDs server - they see that it's a good game and a community atmosphere is built on my DoDs server.
