What doesn't make sense? It's quite common to see ping latency be influenced by its lower priority as configured in the router. Forgive my ignorance(?) but can you please explain how BGP Overhead from announcements == Flapping? Perhaps we have different definitions of "overhead". Anyway, my intention was simply to point out that a tracert result doesn't necessarily reflect the same network latency as one would get in-game.
